What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for a site to work, such as keeping you signed in. Others are used to track what you do, for analytics or advertising.
This website
This website, www.selfbuildbudget.com, does not set any cookies. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.
The Self Build Budget app
When you sign in to the app at app.selfbuildbudget.com, we use a small number of essential cookies, and similar storage in your browser, to:
- keep you signed in securely as you move between pages
- protect your account from misuse
These last while you are signed in and are removed when you sign out or your session ends. Because the app cannot work without them, we do not need to ask for your consent to use them.
When you pay for a plan, Stripe's secure payment pages set their own cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud. Stripe explains these in its own cookie policy.
Analytics and tracking
We do not use analytics or tracking cookies. If that ever changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent before setting any.
Managing cookies
You can see and delete cookies in your browser's settings, and block them if you wish. If you block essential cookies, you will not be able to sign in to the app.
